Staying Power: High praise for Instant InfoSystems from a respected industry leader

It is always rewarding when the work of your organization is recognized within the industry. But, when that recognition comes from a long-time industry veteran who understands the significance of the company’s challenges and accomplishments from an insider’s viewpoint, the recognition is that much sweeter. Such is the case with the recent analysis of Instant InfoSystems from fax industry analyst Mark D. Malone.

Mark’s article details the transformation IIS has made over the company’s near 25-year history, and how we have not only survived, but thrived, despite numerous obstacles along the way.

“There are not many value-added resellers in the fax software industry today that can claim they’ve lasted the test of time, enduring a series of tumultuous market crashes and business changes – and have lived to tell about it.

Spanning three decades, a dot.com bust in 2000, 9/11, a mortgage industry collapse in 2007-2008 and a general malaise about fax technology overall, Instant InfoSystems (IIS) comes out on top of its game. And, they did this in the face of adversity when its largest supplier revamped its entire sales model and left IIS (and others) staggering in their wake.”

Of particular note was Mark’s assessment of the company’s reinvention from a single-product reseller to a consultative fax partner following the termination of the company’s long-standing partnership with OpenText™, the makers of RightFax™. What could have been an insurmountable challenge turned into an opportunity in disguise.

“Given the significance of OpenText™’s reorganization on RightFax™ VARs, many who face this predicament would go under, and most were left reeling in the wake of this misfortune.

[Instant InfoSystem’s] expertise, experience, and knowledge of fax and document delivery technologies allowed them to quickly establish strategic relationships with several industry leaders. Today fax companies such as etherFAX™, FaxCore™, Biscom™, XMedius™, Retarus™ and stratafax™ are represented by IIS. IIS can now address customer needs with a precise set of solutions that have a wide range of capabilities.”

We are proud to continue serving companies of all sizes in every industry by helping them find the right solution to their secure document delivery needs, and providing the trusted service and world-class support our customers have come to expect from IIS. Thanks for the recognition, Mark!
